I was going back through some recent recording experiments and found this song which I finished in May sometime.
I’d put it aside because I couldn’t come up with what sort of visual I wanted to accompany the song.
Again, I was working with the very short song idea… this one just a few seconds over two minutes. When I “found” it again I started to have a thought about what I wanted to see visually. I wanted the visuals to emote something even if someone was watching it with the sound off. I also wanted to have a feeling of anxiety and angst that could be subtly perceived.
I never think I fully hit the mark with what I start out to do but I go along with the “process” once I launch it. And I’m pretty happy with what I ended up with.
