Took me a while to get this one out. I wrote the lyrics at the end of April and “tweaked” them in mid-May… since then I’ve been trying to get it “just right”.

I don’t think I ever think it’s exactly right… but sometimes you just have to let go.

This song marks the end of “season two” of TheSteveCastonShow. I will be taking a short hiatus and focusing on other aspects of my art making and performing life.

Part of that will involve learning the new songs… the last 6 months has been a bit of a whirlwind (a show a week for the first three months then one every second week for the rest – 19 episodes in all) and I haven’t really had the time to spend getting to know the new songs. I intend on doing that now… getting the lyrics in my head and the music under my fingers. My plan is to get out and play live (if you know of a venue where original music is appreciated… and maybe even compensated… please give me a nudge 🙂

Hope you like this final song of the season… inspired by watching and participating in relationship… and sometimes letting the mundane minutae of life get in the way of living…

Take care… see you soon. There’s a whole heap of music and video on my YouTube Channel… accessible from right here at my site. Please indulge.
