So putting something new together every Wednesday usually means I am flying by the seat of my pants… Coming up with a concept… an experiment… a direction…
Anyway… This piece is basically bits and pieces of video with sound… clipped from some only slightly longer bits of video… I used a metronome to regulate the tempo while I was recording the original pieces and then cut and pasted bits together in order to get some kind of rythmn and composition… it’s experimental…
Some of my favorite visual and recording artists are those who walk the very thin line between brilliance and idiocy… Sometimes you fall on the wrong side… I’m in good company either way!
