Every few years I get the itch to come up with a “Christmas Song”… or something seasonal.
Don’t know why… there’s a melancholy about this time of year… I’m not morose or a Scrooge or anything… it all just feels a little empty.
This year I pulled out the old guitar and this tune came out.
I guess I was remembering old friends and family and stuff… with the rose-coloured glasses on. Sort of poking fun at myself for the feeling of nostalgia.
Anyway… it ended up being a bit more fun than all that makes it sound… and it’s real quick and to the point… so just give it a listen (and a watch… I promise there is some silliness).
